In 2015 both Amanda Picciche and Davis Coleman were attending Berklee College of music in Boston, MA. While studying, Amanda began to write music and soon joined with Davis Coleman and several friends to form the project In Ivy.

 

In 2018 In Ivy put out their debut Album "Aphrodite. After crowdfunding for recording costs, they embarked on a tour which included towns in New England, the midwest, and Canada.

​In 2020, In Ivy moved to SoCal and is currently based in Ventura County. They released their second album "Shelf Space" in 2021 as well as two new singles in March 2023. Recently Kevin Pondt has joined In Ivy as their lead guitarist

In Ivy continues to compose music which aims to serve as an emotional and creative outlet.
